Working with Popular Themes

Slowly I am working through the most popular themes and working out the correct CSS to make the system work best with your theme or design.  All of the items that have been added are inside the plugin already and can be turned on or off at a moments notice.

There are so far quite a few that have been added

Theme support on the CSS admin page

What to do if yours is not in the list

If you do not see your theme in the list on this page, do try to use Default as it is the one that most themes copy….
However if you have any more theme CSS information you want me to add into the app, just let me know via comment below.

  1. Nice work with this plugin.
    I use dojo theme

    the css for nice alignment at the bottom is:

    .content ul.socialwrap li {margin-left:0px;}
    .content ul.socialwrap {margin-top:20px;}

      Thanks John,

      Sorry for the late reply, somehow you were in my spam…. Anyhow I’ll add your theme help and see what I can do with the other items. Without looking I expect it is because in the Tag/category/archive posts that you are grabbing the ‘excerpt’ and not the content. What I would do if i was you, I would grab the_content() not the_excerpt() and use the <!–more–> item in your content. Or if you like I can make it apply to excerpts also (which I really don’t recommend). Let me know what you think?

      all the best

    Love this plug-in.. Just installed it..
    But I’m trying to format it with my own Artisteer 2 theme.
    Basically trying to fix this problem..

    I don’t know which file in WordPress is responsible for this.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hey Andy.

    1./
    OK, so my header.php ended a bit like this ::

    <script type="text/javascript" src="/script.js”>

    2./ I tried step 3 first in order to try Step 2…
    Within the “CSS Style and Configuration” section;

    The radio buttons regarding using external stylesheets “stylesheet.css.”
    Either Yes or No are selected and it’s not accepting any of my options when I “Update Settings.”
    Exact same with “print.css”…

    Maybe some more permissions I have to change in order to have THIS accept my alterations to this part of the Admin ?

    Thanks heaps in advance.

      Hey Killbot

      yep that sounds like the problem there, that the server cannot re-write the stylesheet.css or print.css. as it seems to have deleted some of your codes I’m not 100% sure as to how your header.php ends, but what I can see is that you use src=”/script.js” which would suggest that your running some sort of hybrid install as usually this would be prefixed with either /wp-content/themes/your-theme/ or /wp-content/plugins/the-plugin-that-uses-the-script/

      Give that all… I am hoping that you have access to your themes CSS file and can add bits too it, and will suggest to you that you add the following CSS.

      /* share and follow */

      .socialwrap li.icon_text a img,.socialwrap li.iconOnly a img,.followwrap li.icon_text a img,.followwrap li.iconOnly a img{border-width:0 !important;background-color:none}
